Oh yeah!  Super fun time at Archiver's Scrapfest 13 at Mall of America in Bloomington, MN.  So happy I could go.  I met up with SCS Friends and even met new friends.  I tried lots of neat ideas and of course had a blast playing with paper all weekend.   I am especially glad I went since they announced the closing of the Archivers in the MOA which probably ends Scrapfest as we know it.   That's really too bad as it was a great event with lots of fun vendors. 

This card was made at the Fancy Pants Demo.  Jodi is the Owner and she was there at the booth and also came to the Crop so I got to meet her. I also took an album class she taught which was great.  The gals from Fancy Pants were definitely some of the nicest Vendor gals to attend and they also gave away a lot of really cool stuff.  

As soon as I made this card,  I knew it would be perfect for my ABC Challenge Card this week!  Yay!  The pocket envelope and the button are so cute.   Let's see your 3 DSP Cards!  It ended up being lots of fun to put this together.    Supplies:  Fancy Pants

Can you believe it?   It's already time to start the 12 Week Christmas Card Countdown Challenge over at FTS!   Wow...2013.    This week's challenge is "Bells".    Do you know that out of the hundreds of stamps I have I did not have "bells"!   Crazy!   I had to find this cute little embellishment collecting dust in my stash.    It's perfect.   My Mom is a traditionalist about Christmas colors and stuff so she'll love this one.

Happy Monday!  Today for our challenge #44 over at ABC Challenge Blog we're doing Sympathy Cards.   As much as we hope to not need these cards, there are times we do need to send some words of love and encouragement to friends and relatives.  Usually it is very unplanned so having a card or 2 in your stash that you can pull out to send when the occasion warrants is probably a good idea.

Enjoy the Day

Yesterday, trying to catch the sunshine while it was here, we went for a drive along the Lake Erie shore.  It was lovely scenery but what caught my eye was the lovely yellow daisies.  they were so pretty.  Seems this is blooming season.  When I saw the stamp, I knew it was perfect for this week's challenge at ABC Challenge Blog #43.   The challenge is to use markers which means you have to pick an image you can fill in with coloring.   The sketch is from this week's Sketch Frenzy Friday.  I hope you'll come and play!

Happy August, Sunny, Saturday!   It's the 10th of the month and it's time to showcase the fun image we were working with in this month's SCS Unidentified Image Swap.  I thought it was so fun that April sent us a word image versus one to color this time.   I seem to be using lots of yellow lately,  must be for the summer sunshine, LOL!   The sketch is a MOJO Monday.

Double Dip

Happy Monday!  I've got a really fun surprise today because today is a Double Dip of Crafty Fun!  Today over at ABC Challenge Blog at challenge #39, we're crafting monochromatic cards this week.  I figured Yellow would be a good color to use lots of as right now I'm hoping for sunshine all of this week!   The sketch is this week's MOJO Monday #304

July ... Where is it going?

Whew, can you believe it's July 22 already?   Happy Monday and Welcome Back to our ABC Challenges this week.  We took a mini-break last week and now we're B-A-C-K!   This week we're embossing ... twice!  Both dry and ink embossing or (2) dry embossing or (2) ink embossing.  Your choice!    I used both dry emboss and ink emboss for my card this week.   I also used the sketch from MOJO Monday #301.

It's Beginning to look alot like Christmas ....in July?

Zella is on the DT for Twist of Faith so I used one of their challenges #42, the sketch.  She's also on the DT for (Pin)spirational Challenges so I dug through some stamped images (She's always using ones from swaps).   I had to find an image that would work for this week's challenge.  Of course, I knew Zella would like the verse too.

Hello Blooms!

 Hello, hello and Happy Monday!    I'm traveling for work and this week I'm in TN!  Last week I got to enjoy a beautiful courtyard area at the hotel we stayed at for work.  There were some lovely flowers and I LOVE to photograph flowers ... Ahhh such Inspiration!

My card for this week's ABC Challenge #35 - Anything Goes is all about Flower Blooms as well.  I think goes with this picture because the stamps are titled,  "Hello Blooms"!   I hope you have a good week and get some time to "get inky" and play your favorite Challenge or 2 ...

Hello to a new week!  Welcome Monday.   This week over at ABC Challenge Blog we're enjoying making cards with Animals.  At first I was sure I didn't have any stamps with animals but ... wow, I guess I surprised myself because I sure did.  When I found this one, I couldn't resist.  I don't get it out too often but it's SO cute!  Of course, I think hedgehogs are only cute on cards, hunh?    I'm sure if you look you'll find you have several animal stamps as well so dig them out and come and join the fun!

Here I come

M-O-N-D-A-Y!   It's here!   I had such a fun weekend I was actually bumming about going back to work already, LOL!   It's Happy New Year at work,  our new fiscal year starts today.   This card is for my Boss.   We're moving teams around at work so he's not going to be my boss for much longer and I wanted to tell him how much I appreciated all of his help this year.   He's a good guy and I'm going to miss him.

I started with MOJO Monday Challenge #295 but I just wasn't moved this week for a square or round card.  This is also for this week's ABC Challenge #31!  Woot! Woot!  It's time to make cards for Guys in our lives!   Let's see what you can come up with!   Come and play!

Language of Friendship

Yesterday I had a great time for a long chat with my BFF!  We don't live by each other any more and most often our conversations are quick snatches on our way home at night or text messages.  It was so nice to talk to her.   Looking forward to some fun together soon!

This is my Challenge Card for our ABC Challenge #29 this

week - Stamped Backgrounds. I'm not sure why but I just could not decide on what stamps to use.   I struggled to come up with a stamped background I liked.  I finally settled on the SU! Canvas background stamp and added some flowers from the Language of Friendship set. I chose the colors from this week's SCS Color Challenge - Certainly Celery, Regal Rose and Bermuda Bay.  I think I used Cool Caribbean for the blue shade though ...

Wow ... Happy 25

This week was a fun week.  We spent it on Vacation with our family at Disney and the Beach.   It was also our 25th Wedding Anniversary and I made this card for my DH.   It was really fun colors from the new CTMH DreamPop (May) Specialty paper.   The card was CASE'd from a fun card I saw on the CTMH DreamPop Blog Hop.   My DH Loved it. 

This week at ABC Challenge Blog Card challenge is to make a Wedding or Anniversary Card.  It was perfect timing, just perfect for DH.   I hope you will come and play!
