Have you ever had one of those days where all the cute cards in your head just didn't come out on paper like you were imagining they looked?  LOL!   Well today is one of those days!   I was actually trying to get my Christmas Cards done and they just weren't looking the way I wanted.  I decided to take a break and play with the Mojo Monday #214 to make sure I had my card done for that this week as it's a contest week.  Wouldn't that be fun to win some Verve stamps to play with :)    I also wanted to get my card done for the Perfect Sentiments #06 challenge by doing an "all occasion" card.   I had been browsing through the SU! Catalog last night and remembered that a sweet friend of mine had PIF'd me some of these cute owls!  I wanted to use them to make a card for her as she's going through a rough life moment and I just want to send her some happy thoughts.   This all came together and I love it!   Now if only my Christmas Cards were coming along this cute ... back at it!   Supplies:  SU!     Sorry you weren't having much luck getting done what you set out to do, BUT.... I am so glad you took a break and decided to join in on our challenge! This card is absolutely adorable! I love the ruffled wide brown satin. And those owls are just too cute! Great paper choices and I like the texture from the embossed polka dots.     I love this card Lela!!!. I'm sure your Christmas cards will look beautiful as well. I'm getting crazy with mines too. Not enough paper, my order will take a little more while and the clock is ticking!!!.

    Great card! I was eyeing that mojo monday challenge myself, but it's quickly approaching deadine time and I'm commenting on your blog posts instead. LOL. Maybe next week. Love that bright green color.
