Welcome Back! We took a break last week for our ABC Challenges, did you miss us? I always look forward to the BEAUTIFUL Creations the ABC Card DT comes up with ... they're all wonderful so I missed us last Monday! Especially for April Fool's day, haha!
This week's Challenge is a Fun one, it's colors! Use Pastel Pink, Blue and Green. The awesome thing about the ABC Challenge Blog is that we're not company specific so although on the Challenge Patty used SU! Pale Pink, Certainly Celery and Sky ... feel free to use creative license and get close ... like I did :) I used AMuse Studio Colors.
This card is going in the mail to my co-worker and friend Marie. I'm missing her. She's back in the hospital for some health issues and I'm Thinking of Her! The sketch is from MOJO Monday #285.

Not too long ago one of my friends on our scrappin' blog posted about a site that had a weekly scrap challenge - Paper Secrets. She had played the first round and they were starting a 2nd round of "Scrap Your A-- Off". Every week on Wednesdays they post a page sketch and several items to use for that sketch and you have a week to get the page done and posted. It's been great fun and really motivating for getting scrapbook pages done! This past weekend, it was the 3rd Birthday Bash for Paper Secrets. One of the challenges was to make a B-Day Card with their Blog colors. I decided to play this challenge and I sent the card to Kathy who referred us to Paper Secrets for scrapping as her birthday is upcoming.
I decided to use the sketch from Perfect Sentiments and to keep the sentiment encouraging with "Make A Wish". So Happy Birthday Paper Secrets and Kathy C!

I probably wouldn't have been using pink and lime green & stamping flowers this weekend without some prompting as the snowing and blowing put me in a blue snowman stamping mood, LOL! BUT the Great Gals over at Perfect Sentiments challenge this week is to make a card for a friend and be inspired by a pretty white veranda decorated in pink with lovely green leaves surrounding it. I thought these colors were perfect for this inspiration.
The card sketch came from Card Patterns #152. This AMuse Studio Grass Shimmer is one of my favorite shimmer colors. Stay Inspired!
