Not only is this week Mother's Day but it's also my MIL Birthday. My hubby was out this week picking up an Anniversary Card and while he was out he bought a Mother's Day card for his Mom. He came home and told me he had a terrible time picking a card he liked and he couldn't believe he paid over $10 for 2 cards! He very sweetly said my cards were better and he was hoping I was making a birthday card for his Mom because she would like it better .... aawww! I was already planning on making her a card, she does always call and say how much she appreciates them. I didn't have the heart to tell DH that I had already made a Mother's Day card for his Mom as well ... it will be our little secret.

Ok, can you tell I've been watching the World Series, LOL! I spent lots of time last weekend baking up the apples we picked at the orchard and this weekend was all about watching the Cardinals win the World Series although I was cheering for the Rangers. It was a GREAT series. Baseball though makes me think of Spring and it's sure not Spring outside my window! They even said possible S**W Flurries tomorrow, ugh! Well, That's what's so awesome about crafting, it can be any season you choose. Tonight it was Spring because I wanted to use my SU! Butterfly Diecut on this cute card sketch from Paper Players #69.
