Yesterday I had a great time for a long chat with my BFF! We don't live by each other any more and most often our conversations are quick snatches on our way home at night or text messages. It was so nice to talk to her. Looking forward to some fun together soon!
This is my Challenge Card for our ABC Challenge #29 this
week - Stamped Backgrounds. I'm not sure why but I just could not decide on what stamps to use. I struggled to come up with a stamped background I liked. I finally settled on the SU! Canvas background stamp and added some flowers from the Language of Friendship set. I chose the colors from this week's SCS Color Challenge - Certainly Celery, Regal Rose and Bermuda Bay. I think I used Cool Caribbean for the blue shade though ...

This week was a fun week. We spent it on Vacation with our family at Disney and the Beach. It was also our 25th Wedding Anniversary and I made this card for my DH. It was really fun colors from the new CTMH DreamPop (May) Specialty paper. The card was CASE'd from a fun card I saw on the CTMH DreamPop Blog Hop. My DH Loved it.

I love being able to "schedule" my blog posts because this week I'm - ON VACATION - with my family and lovin' every minute of it. We're spending a couple weeks in Florida enjoying sun and fun as a familly. My boys just finished another year of college and it was time to celebrate as family. I realize these times will be fewer and farther in between.

Happy Mom Day! What a great time to remember how important our Mama's are to all of us. My Mom will absolutely laugh when she gets this card. This was more of a joke and I plan to send her another but I know she'll like it. Are you ready for this ... my Mom doesn't like COFFEE... GASP! My sister and I love Starbucks and all the other flavored coffees. I, especially would not have a good day if I started the day without my Java. This just tickles my Mom that we like our coffees so much so when I saw this Taylor Expressions stamp and it went on Sale after Christmas ... well I just had to get it. I had it less than a week and had already made this card for my Mom. I can't wait to send it!

Whew! Hello from Arizona! I'm traveling for work again this week only longer - all week. It's such a rush-rush-rush around the house when I have travel days scheduled. I was able to finish up my card for this week's "recycled" challenge. I not only RECYCLED a card idea I did before but I also pulled some ribbon off a little box and an old button I found in the drawer. It's fun and easy!

Oh Spring ... hurry up and get here, LOL! I don't mind winter, well some snow around the holidays but let me tell you ... I'm ready for it to be gone in February! I actually made this card in January when I was Spring Vacation planning. I am counting the days for beach weather soon.
