My "baby" is graduating from high school today, YAY for him! I'm so proud ... of course, I'm a little sad too because this means he's moving away soon to college. It's all good, it's that time of life. The card sketch is actually a June Page Maps card sketch and it's our sketch for Challenge #17 for CYAO over at Paper Secrets Blog. It works out great because this week over at Perfect Sentiments it's an "anything goes week" and we got to choose a sentiment. I think this pretty well sums it up for this week!
Way to Go JT!

Hi Lela, your grad card is so cute, great color combo! Congratulations to your son! My baby graduated in 2011, just finished her freshman year in college 1500 miles from home. I sure did miss her!
ReplyDeleteFantastic card. I love the notebook paper you used. Congrats to your son!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to him Lela!!!. Beautiful card!!!. I don't envy you... I'm having a hard time accepting mine are growing. He is only in grade 10, but still time flies and I think it is extremely hard to see them go :(. Good for him!!!... my love to you!!!

ReplyDeletetoo many typos... : D
DeleteCongrats to you on his graduation...our Superintendent stated in his speech that 'their' graduation is also a crowning of our achievements over the years, too, the support we give etc! I recognize this sketch! It caught my eye a couple days ago at Cardmaps and I used it for my first day of the 100in100. Fun to see it done so wonderfully. I love your images and the torn notebook look! What fun for a grad!
