Hello Birdy!
LOL! As soon as I saw the new SU! Catty in July I knew I wanted the "For the Birds" set on pg 34! I think all of those birds are so cute and I liked all of the stamps so of course when Sally called to say that my order had arrived, I rushed to pick it up this weekend. This card is going to be for my swap card with the fabby gals I've been swapping with for several years now over at TopSUSwaps! It wasn't exactly how I pictured when I started but I like how it ended up! My card also gives me "Tic Tac Toe" over at the Paper Players challenge this week! How fun is that?
Supplies: All SU on this one. Paper: More Mustard, Soft Suede, River Rock, Very Vanilla, Stamps: For the Birds, Ink: Choc Chip, More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie, Embosslits: Buttons, Emboss Folder: Fancy Fan, Ribbon: Stitched River Rock

My cards very rarely turn out the way I plan them either - sometimes that's good thing, and sometimes not so much. I don't know you planned this one to be, but I do like the way it turned out! Love the birdy stamp too!
ReplyDeleteI loved those birds too, and bought the set, but haven't made a card with it yet. Your card inspires me to pull it out and make something.
