well...I really didn't want to make a Birthday card but I need a sentiment with numbers for this week's Paper Secrets CYAO #27 challenge and I couldn't come up with another idea. It's really late and I should already be in bed for church tomorrow but I wanted to get this sketch done. I'll work on coming up with something else tomorrow. This one as they say, is "done" and "done is good". This is also this week's MOJO Monday Sketch. I already have another idea to use this for so I'll definitely have to work on that as well.
Enjoy your Sunday! *** adding for Sunday *** I'm much happier with this version

love the colors and woodgrain paper!
ReplyDeleteI love both cards! The subtle differences in the two cards make them "feel" completely different. Your first card is a bright cheerful birthday card, and you second is a more feminine "anything" card. I like them both, and I usually don't like orange & brown.
ReplyDeleteI like this card. I do understand the done is done comment. I've done a few layout challenges recently where I didn't like the layouts but got them done!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards! I love the color combo you chose.
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty work on these cards, Lela!! Beautiful color combo!
ReplyDeleteThis is a really neat sketch and you did a great job with it, perfect birthday card!
