It was time to get some Valentines done! The fun part of making cards is that you can try lots of different colors and styles. I ended up really liking the red ones. This was a FUN card because I got to use the cute A Muse Studio Heart Dies and the middle is Washi Tape. Of course, I think the little birds have been my favorites on all cards!
Supplies: All A Muse Studio -- Paper = Hearts, Red Gingham, Stamps = tweet heart, Ink = Black Momento, Heart Dies, Silver Washi Tape, Scallop Edge Punch,

Time to Go Home
I'm waving "Good Bye" to Nashville, TN until next year's event and going home to Ohio. I'm very ready to be home although 30's and snow sounds really cold at this point however, I love my family and I can't wait to see them.
As you can see, snow was on my mind. I made these cute little altered Tic-Tac holders for Valentines. The heart paper is from A Muse Studio. Fun, fun!
Supplies: A Muse Studio Hearts Paper, Kraft & White, Cherry Organdy Ribbon

Love from Nashville, TN!
Last week and this upcoming week I'm in Nashville, TN for a Customer Event. I go every year but in past years it's been in Orlando, FL. They moved the event to TN this year so it's a new spot. I spent my Birthday weekend hanging out, reading, stamping, scrapping and even threw in a little Valentine shopping. I figured I better go while I had time. Today I spent the early afternoon at the Nashville Zoo. It was 60 and just a nice day to be out, after all, it's snowing in Ohio.
My card inspiration for today came from FS #259 SCS Featured Stamper Challenge to CASE a card from Kim - a.k.a - Luv Flowers. I sent down A Muse Studio Valentine Stamps hoping for a chance to play this weekend and it worked perfectly for the A Muse Studio 01/15 Challenge for Love Is In The Air.
Supplies: All AMuse Studio -- Stamps: tweet heart, owl's well, Ink: bubblegum, french roast, lime, Paper: Pink Gingham, Kraft, French Roast Shimmer, Ribbon: French Roast Stitched, Flowers: meadow mix, Buttons: Pink

i {heart} you
Last week I had a wonderful opportunity to spend time with my Mom and Sister. We don't get to as often as we'd like as they live in Florida and I live in Ohio. It was very special time but of course the hours flew by. I wanted to make a card for my Mom as I love her dearly and miss her much and I know it was hard for her when I left.
This card started out with this week's Freshly Made Sketches #16 but it altered slightly as I found this cute doily in my scrap stash and knew Mom would love it, it's her era, LOL! I wish you could see in the picture, but I sprayed it with AMuse Studio Stardust Spray and it has a nice sparkle, ready for Mom! It's in the mail and I know she'll love it! Love You Mom!

Hello January
It was a crafty kind of weekend just hanging out at home. I do have to admit that I got more scrapbooking done than cards this weekend but I tend to go back and forth with MOJO for each and right now my scrappin' MOJO seems to be working.
This Altered Journal is for a Valentine Gift. I used the sketch from MOJO Monday #220 for the sketch. I was anxious to use my new heart embossing folder - isn't it cute?! Also these adorable AMuse Studio Stamps were just calling for me to get them out to play. It was good motivation to get it done now as the Paper Players #77 Challenge is "Love"
I hope my friend likes it! I just might have to make another for me, LOL! Thanks for stopping by!Supplies: AMuse Studio Heart Paper, Kraft CS, AMuse Studio Stamps tweet heart, AMuse Ink french roast, cranberry, Cherry, AMuse Studio cranberry buttons, SU! Heart Edge Punch

Happy NEW Year!
Today is my first post for 2012 and it's very fitting because it's for our SCS Crafty Girls Blogging Group. The 5th of every month we do a Blog Hop together. You'll want to check out all the gals Blogs listed on the right side of this page for some fun cards, items and pages today!!
Our theme for this was was "New". What a FUN theme for January, a new year and the start of a new season (at least here in Ohio, Winter has come!). It wasn't too hard for me to come up with a project for this theme as last week I spent in Florida with my Sis and her family. My Sister had a baby last Wednesday! Sarah Elizabeth is my first niece and she's ADORABLE!
Yup, cute hunh? Auntie Lela was all too willing to snuggle with her during my visit. Of course, I wanted to get some scrap pages done of her but trying to select just a few of the over 200 pictures I took while I was there proved to be more challenging than I expected so tonight I got out the baby stamps and put them to good use for some cards. There are some other friends having babies soon and hopefully if it's a girl, I have a card ready. As you can imagine, I have "pink" on the brain these days so of course, I chose pink.
The sketch is from this week's Card Pattern's Sketch #146. I used all SU! this week.
Don't forget to check out the rest of our Crafty Girls Blog Hop by checking out the blogs listed on the right side of the page! I'm sure I'll have more "NEW" baby cards and pages to show off soon. Enjoy!
Supplies: SU! Patterns Pack II, Ink Regal Rose, Basic Black, Black Gingham Ribbon, SU! Stamps - Baby Talk, Warm Words, Cute Converse
