Well, Cold and Rainy Sunday makes for a GREAT day to finish Christmas Cards :) Woohoo! Not only are mine done but so are the ones I made for my Mom. For some reason this year I seemed to struggle but once I just sat down and started stamping, it came together and I have 4 designs, I'm sure she'll like all of them. I think this is the one she's going to like the most. IRL it is very sparkly as I used Stardust Spray on the tree with Diamond Stickles. The ruffled ribbon is some CUTE stuff I had from Maya Road. I really need to look for some more as it's always pretty when added to a card. I picked up these buttons for my Christmas cards and they're very shiny and fun. It's a good day because it's Monday and that means it's time for this week's ABC Challenge Blog. I hope you'll play along this week as all things that sparkle.
Supplies: SU Stamps Season of Joy, Ink Certainly Celery, Real Red, Sizzix Christmas Embossing Folder, Maya Road Green Ruffled Ribbon, Misc Red Ribbon, Misc Green Buttons, AMuse Studio Stardust Spray, Stickles Diamond
Such pretty detailing with the embossing, buttons, and ruffled gingham! What a wonderful and festive holiday card, Lela!
ReplyDeleteThis card is so pretty! I really like how you did the ruffled ribbon... and those buttons are placed perfectly!
ReplyDeleteI love the interest the ruffle of ribbon gives the card...I think both the colour and gingham and the ruffling! Also thinking as you say about finishing off your cards...I have been so busy making cards for classes I've forgotten the bonus that I have them to mail off and thus, should get them in the mail...need to find a family photo to add into the envelops I guess...
ReplyDeleteSo pretty - you have a lucky mom!
ReplyDeleteVery cute Lela & I love the skirt!
ReplyDeleteAdorable ruffled ribbon! I want some too.
ReplyDeleteI love this stamp set. I still think I should have picked it up before it retired...maybe I"ll find it for cheap somewhere.
