She's A Grand Ole' Flag

This card sketch is this week's CPS 272 sketch challenge.  It was perfect for my Patriotic card for the H2H Challenge and the Perfect Sentiments Challenge this week and of course to celebrate our Nation's Birthday!  Definitely counting Lucky Stars!

You Made My Day

Yesterday I got invited to my SU! Demo New Catty Open House!  It was a really nice time. We made some cute cards, ate good food, chatted about stamping and then the hard part, choosing what on the "wish list" I wanted ... LOL!   Also another great option Sally provides is that she sells some of her retired DSP and stamp sets.   It's always fun to pick up some goodies to go home with.   I brought home (new to me) SU! Fresh Vintage & Everyday Enchantment DSP from SAB.  It was great since my Secret Sister this past round had gifted me with Everyday Enchantment Ribbon and Brads.    This card design came from MOJO Monday 247 .    Also the Challenge this week over at Twisted Tuesdays was to create a refreshing, Summer card using the color red.  Works for me!  This one's going to my SU! Demo for a fun Sunday afternoon!    This also rocks another 4 cards done in my 100 in 100 SCS Challenge.   Stay Inspired!

YAY for my baby son who graduated from high school this past June!   Of course the pictures arrived this week and I was anxious to scrap him getting his diploma.   The sketch this week for the SYAO22 Challenge over at Paper Secrets was a 1 photo page and I knew it would work for this picture ... SO Happy for him!  Now it's time to move onto College.   This is another done in my quest for 100 in 100  on our challenge over at SCS.   Keep using the stash!

I am so happy ...

yes, I'm very happy to be home and relaxing this weekend after lots of travel the last few weeks.  I'm really happy to be at my Scrap/Stamp desk and crafting away.   This card didn't turn out exactly as I pictured however sometimes "done is done".    This is my 2nd installment for the 100 in 100 SCS Challenge.   It's a great way to continue to use stash.  I made 10 of these cards.   The sketch is from June Page Maps and is this week's Paper Secrets CYAO21 Challenge card.

This is my card for our Card Challenge over at Paper Secrets for CYAO20.   I wasn't exactly sure what I was going to do with the sketch that was chosen but after a couple days thinking about it,  I decided that I wanted to do some cards for the 4th of July Holiday upcoming!   I love fireworks so this is a fun time of year for me.  These cute papers are from BoBunny 6x6 Liberty Pack.    These are my first cards for the 100 in 100 Challenge over at SCS!  6 down, 94 to go!

GRADUATION!   Now I know we were supposed to be making cards for "Vacation " Theme thanks to Barb's great inspiration for our Crafty Girls Blog Hop this month but I must say,  as a proud Mama,  my time and focus has been on details for Graduation and Grad Party ...    SO  with BIG SMILES,  I'm happy to say that My baby graduated and now this weekend it's time for us to head off to other Family Graduation (nephew- YAY!) and some Family fun time!   Woohoo for us!   That's a great vacation! 

This card idea actually came from Got Sketch #107 for scrapbooking.   It's a GREAT way to use up scraps so if you're looking for an idea,  you'll want to book mark this one, LOL!   This worked perfectly for the challenge over at AMuse Studio Blog to focus on sentiments!   This one sums it up so nicely!

You Did It!

My "baby" is graduating from high school today,  YAY for him!   I'm so proud  ... of course, I'm a little sad too because this means he's moving away soon to college.  It's all good,  it's that time of life.   The card sketch is actually a June Page Maps card sketch and it's our sketch for Challenge #17 for CYAO over at Paper Secrets Blog.   It works out great because this week over at Perfect Sentiments it's an "anything goes week" and we got to choose a sentiment.   I think this pretty well sums it up for this week!
