Life is Good

Happy Monday!   I really am not a fan of Monday's except for now that our ABC Challenges are on Mondays I guess it's better because I get to see all of the great DT cards and the fun challenge for the week!   I have a busy week with work counterparts in town from Mexico and it's a fun CRAFTY week here as well with our SCS Blog Hop coming on the 5th --- yay!   Be sure to stop back and check out my "Card for Carolina"!     She has GREAT  inspiration.

Today's card is also inspired from SCS Featured Stamper Challenge 317.   It's always fun to see who they choose and the galleries are always wonderful.   This one too!  I found some scraps from some of my fave CTMH Paper - Elemental and it seemed like it would be good for banners.   I always like the look of those.

Be sure to stop by and play at ABC Challenges Blog this week because Anything Goes!

Supplies:   CTMH Paper Elemental,  CTMH Stamp CC1020 It's Your Day,  CTMH Ink Pacifica, Sunset, Honey,   CTMH Sparkles

Good Bye February

It's almost time to say good bye to February!  Wow, how time flies ... this month was a good month but many days travel for work.   I still managed to get lots of scrappin' and stamping done.  It's always a good month when there is time for crafting.   It's Monday which means it's time for this week's ABC Challenge.

This week we have a fun sketch designed by Patty.  Be sure to stop by and check it out and play along.   Sketches are always a great starting point.   I used this Carta Bella "Devoted" Paper.   It was for the Love Sketch Challenge "J" at SCS this week.

Supplies:  Paper Carta Bella Devoted, Stamps Taylor Expressions Splish Splash,  Copic, Misc Ribbon,

Better Late than Never ....

Ahhh ... this week started out rough and I didn't get my Challenge Card posted for our very FUN ABC Challenge this week - add some stitching - faux or real.  Anyone who knows me knows I couldn't mend a sock so stitching for real was probably not gonna happen here but faux is always fun too!   I usually get my challenge cards posted ahead of  time but I just totally missed getting this one posted and then when I did go to post - no camera!   I was in a FULL Panic ... let me tell ya.    Better now,  camera found and card shown.   This started out from MOJO Sketch #279 but I put the panels on "backward" so it's a bit of stretch ... but that's where the creativity comes in.
My card theme - snow - was perfect timing though because this weekend we had over 5 inches of snow.   I'd rather have it on the weekend than during the week though.... I hope you'll come and stitch with us at ABC with us this week!

Supplies:  CTMH Paper Aspen, CTMH Stamps D1480 Snowflakes, CTMH Ink Outdoor Denim, Twilight,  Misc Snowflakes,  CTMH Sparkles,  CB Snowflake EB Folder

This sketch is from MOJO Monday #276.   For our Challenge at ABC Challenge Blog I used Red, Pink and Cream.  I really like how the seam binding came out attached to the outside of the heart.

Happy Feb 5

For the last year, the 5th of the month has been my favorite date of the month since the SCS Crafty Girls set up for our monthly Blog Hop.   This year we decided that we would CASE a different crafty gal each month ... whether it was for favorite colors, card designs or what ever inspired us.   I got a little ahead of the process by posting for one of our Favorite Crafty Girls,  Jeannette (SCS:  Forest Ranger) last month but it wasn't too hard to be inspired again this one!    If you get a chance,  stop by and check out her gallery!  She does beautiful work both inside and outside the cards :)

If you get a chance, you should check out Jeannette's blog, she always has a beautiful card or 2 to share!

Happy February
