Yesterday I had a great time for a long chat with my BFF! We don't live by each other any more and most often our conversations are quick snatches on our way home at night or text messages. It was so nice to talk to her. Looking forward to some fun together soon!
This is my Challenge Card for our ABC Challenge #29 this
week - Stamped Backgrounds. I'm not sure why but I just could not decide on what stamps to use. I struggled to come up with a stamped background I liked. I finally settled on the SU! Canvas background stamp and added some flowers from the Language of Friendship set. I chose the colors from this week's SCS Color Challenge - Certainly Celery, Regal Rose and Bermuda Bay. I think I used Cool Caribbean for the blue shade though ...

I love the stampin' community. It's a Super group of Gals who are thoughtful and fun. Every time I see this SU! stamp I lovingly think of all the friends I have in Stamp/Scrap Land. They really never cease to surprise me and I always hope that I can be as good to them as they are to me... Probably not but I try.
At first when I saw this sketch I wasn't sure because I'm not always good with square cards but I do like how it turned out. I found some Basic Grey Sweet Threads paper with pretty colors and added the bird from SU! Language of Friendship. One of my favorite punches is the SU Bird punch and I was glad to have these stamps to use that punch more often.

I'm really disappointed as this round of Divine Secret Sisters on SCS is coming to an end and I've had a GREAT Little Sis to send cards to. She shared with me that Fall or Thanksgiving cards are some of her favorites so I've really enjoyed getting out all the Autumn colored papers and stamps. This cute sketch came from Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge #197. I even dragged out some old SU! DSP scraps just for this sketch. It also worked perfectly with the Paper Players #70 Challenge for this week to use Fall Colors. They had an AMAZING Blog Hop on Saturday for their Fall Challenge. Every card or item was beautiful!
